LDA Received 76 Building Plans’ Applications For high-rise 4 months
The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has notified the receipt of 76 applications seeking approvals for the construction of high-rise projects during the last four months, a news source reported. However, as per the publication, the authority has yet to provide its sanction to of any of these requests.

Back in September, the LDA had approved of the Zoning and Building Regulations 2019, in order to fulfill Prime Minister Imran Khan’s wish for Lahore to have an additional amount of high-rise buildings.
As per the details shared by the development authority, the maximum number of these applications were received for projects being planned in JoharTown (14), with Gulbgerg2 (7) and Gulberg3 (5) receiving the next highest number of applications. Additional bids were submitted for locations across the city, including Gulberg1, Gulberg5, Sabzazar, Al-Kabir Town, AyubiaTown, TimberMarket and MultanRoad.
